Robot Birthday!

Hello!
So last week was Marky's Birthday.... we love birthdays!!!
Markus turned 3 and it was his first one to be celebrated in Seoul.

I baked the cake and decorated the night before.
I wish I could upload here the video of his reaction when he woke up... (I put up a small part on my FB page). For some reason I can't upload videos here, I could, but once is up, you can't play them. hummm...  Have to figure this one out. : (

Since it was just us, I decided to make a special guest for him. Some cardboard boxes, paint, glue and parts of broken toys & Voila....

I introduce,

⬇Mr. Rob

It was a Robot Birthday!

And he opened some gifts...

& we went out for lunch...

To the Coex mall...

& got him some ice cream...

& she was there too...

Then we took him to a Toy store, and he got to choose a toy.
And we headed back home to build it. ⬇

He's been asking for this for a while now (he already asks for things). They show it at the end of a Thomas movie... sold! *From now on, have to make sure, he sees the least amount of commercials. ; )

& he played...

It was a nice & relaxed afternoon. : )

& he did the Robot dance, and the Robot talk...

Thank you Yana for the awesome Tee!!!

He ❤ Robots!

And because he is in a Robot stage, (and I ❤ it) I went Robot crazy...

And wrapped it all with something Robot...

And we made it special just for him! : )

It is very difficult to find birthday supplies in Seoul. I know there is an area that has near Dongdaemun, but I haven't made it to that area yet. Also the stuff you do find, is not the cutest. : (

I'd rather make my own things..
I got the alphabet bunting here.... Free! : ) Super cute!!!

I asked him what cake he wanted, and he pointed out to one similar to this. I made fondant, for the first time in my life with this recipe. Worked out ok... although I much rather use the already made one, sorry : (.... I don't really like covering the whole cake with it, so I'd rather buy it... but I can't find it here.

I found a site that had these cute printables.... ❤ it. BUT, guess what, I don't think they are free anymore. : (
I tried finding it to share it, but all I got was the Etsy shop. You could get them personalized for your party here

You see him with the spoon, the cake had a hole on the back... : )

Picture time...

With me...

With Daddy...

With Daddy & Olivia...

Us...

She had a bit of cake... : )

This is the cake he told me he wanted!

He pointed at that ⬆one when I showed him some cake pictures... I think it came out pretty similar! : ) hehehe... ⬇

Happy Birthday time!!! : )))

He actually told me; Thank you Mommy you did a great job with the cake... He's a total charmer!

Blowing the candles....

The next day came...

& today really was his day! : )

And our dear Hyeah stopped by, and brought him a gift and a DE-E-LICIOUS ice cream cake...
I think I liked this cake more, it was so yummy. It was called shooting star, and it had pop rocks (candy) inside, so every bite was pop-a-licious!
Thank you Hyeah!!!

Thank you Mr. Rob for standing still... & not breaking! : )

We had fun, but most importantly He had a great day & that makes every single hot glue gun burn, totally worth it!

: )

xoxo
